Excellent re issue of this DC hardcore classic. I grew up in DC and Government Issue was one of my very favorite bands growing up. I was at every show, including the record release show for this LP. This LP has GI's trademark hardcore sound, with a strong hard rock influence that was way ahead of it's time, and as we all know now, rarely equalled. Tons of bands try to mix hardcore and hard rock and only a handful pull it off. This record sounds like it's hardcore punk recorded and mixed to be played in a stadium opening for Rose Tattoo or (early) Van Halen. I love this record and after the Make an Effort ep it's my favorite GI material.
