TKO and Crawlspace records bring us an official re issue of this classic demo material, plus some added material. Poison Idea is in most anyone's top 5 for US hardcore, and their Pick Your King 7" tops many lists of best hardcore 7"s. The Darby Crash demo has most of the songs off the first 7" in more raw and dirty versions. There is also an excellent live radio session on this LP which has good sound quality and features most of the best songs from this bands early period, plus some that didn't make the later vinyl releases. The Boner's Kitchen demo is also on this LP, which is ok, but not as good as the later 1982 material. Hardcore was evolving from punk so quickly in those years that six months or a year could mean a huge difference in a bands sound and approach.
