Re issue of this 1983 LP by Washington DC's Black Market Baby. BMB were very much overshadowed by the contemporaneous DC hardcore scene. Their sound was more straight forward Punk influenced more the Dead Boys, Stooges and 77 punk bands and perhaps contemporary LA and NY Punk. Catchy and tuneful songs filled with spite and energy with in your face lyrics. I interviewed this band for my high school fanzine about the time this record came out and they were very gracious and patient with my display of over exhuberant teen rock journalism.
